4th Sunday after Easter, 5th of Easter. B

The fruit of the vine

Sentence
In this is love, not that we loved God but that God loved us. Beloved, sine God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another. 1Jn.4:10-11

Collects
Almighty God, you show to those who are in error the light of your truth so that they may return into the way of righteousness: grant to all who are admitted into the fellowship of Christ's service that they my renounce those things that are contrary to their profession and follow all such things as are agreeable to it; through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. BCP Easter 3

Let us pray [that we may enjoy true freedom.]
God our Father, look upon us with love. You redeem us and make us your Children in Christ. Give us true freedom and bring us to the inheritance you promised. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. AAPB

O God, form the minds of your faithful people, that we may love what you command and desire what you promise, so that, amid the many changes of this world, our hearts may there be fixed where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. APBA
