Easter Day C

The resurrection of Christ

Sentence
      Christ is risen
          He is risen indeed

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Luke 24:34, Psalm 118:24

Collects
Almighty God, you have conquered death through your dearly beloved Son Jesus Christ and opened to us the gate of everlasting life: grant us by your grace to set our mind on things above, so that by your continual help our whole life may be transformed; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit in everlasting glory. Amen. BCP Easter Day.

Let us pray [that we may know the risen Christ.]
God our Father, by raising Christ your Son, you conquered the power of death and opened for us the way to eternal life. In our celebration today raise us up and renew our lives by the Spirit that is within us. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. AAPB

God of glory, fill your church with the power that flows from Christ's resurrection, that, in the midst of this sinful world, it may signal the beginning of a renewed humanity, raised to new life with Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. APBA
