      God is faithful; by him you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9
 
Collects
      Almighty and everlasting God, ruler of all things in heaven and earth, mercifully hear the supplications of your people, and grant us your peace all the days of our life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. BCP. Epiphany 2
 
      Let us pray [for the gift of God's peace.]
      Father of heaven and earth, hear our prayers, and show us the way to peace in the world. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. AAPB
 
      Almighty God, whose Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ, is the light of the world: may your people, illumined by your word and sacraments, shine with the radiance of his glory, that he may be known, worshipped and obeyed to the ends of the earth; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
