Collects
Almighty God, the protector of all who put their trust in you, without whom nothing is strong, nothing holy: increase and multiply upon us your mercy, so that with you as our ruler and guide, we may so pass through things temporal that we finally lose not the things eternal; grant this, heavenly Father, for our Lord Jesus Christ's sake. Amen. BCP. Trinity 4
Let us pray [that we will make good use of the gifts that God has given us]
God oiur Father and protector, without you nothing is holy, nothing has value. Guide us to everlasting life by helping us to use wisely the blessings you have given to the world. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. AAPB
Provident Father, with the prayer your Son taught us always on our lips, we ask, we seek, we knock at the door: help us to seek what we may truly find, so to ask that we may joyfully receive, and so to knock that the door of mercy may be opened for us; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. APBA
