The Holy Spirit

Sentence
"A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you," says the Lord God; "I will put my spirit within you and you shall live", Ezekiel 36:26; 37:14

Collects
Almighty God, who taught the hearts of your faithful people by sending to them the light of your Holy Spirit; grant to us by the same Spirit to have a right judgment in all things and always to rejoice in his holy comfort; through the merits of Christ Jesus our Saviour, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. BCP. Whitsunday

Let us pray [that the Spirit will work through us to bring Christ to the world]
God our Father, let the Spirit you sent on the Church to begin the teaching of the gospel continue to work in the world through the hearts of all who believe. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. AAPB

Almighty God, you sent you Holy Spirit to be the life and light of your church: open our hearts to the riches of your grace, that we may bring forth the fruit of the Spirit in love, joy, and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. APBA

Hymn or Chorus first line
How beautiful the morning
I will arise and go to Jesus
Jesus how lovely you are
Fairest Lord Jesus
Here he comes, robed in majesty
Be still for the presence of the Lord
Broken for me
In you is gladness in all our sadness
